Day 2/30 Makeup Challenge: How did you learn to put on makeup?

Hi. So I’m gonna be sharing with you how I learned how to apply makeup. Well, basically it all started when I was a little kid. I would always look at my mom while she does her makeup. She’s isn’t the type who would wear as much make up as I do now but of course, first lessons we get always came inside our homes, right? =)

As I grew up, I met some friends back then who are into makeup. We explored and learned some of the basics like how to apply blush and lip colors. I don’t know if you’ll agree with me but sharing stories and tricks with girlfriends even at a younger age made my makeup journey hella fun.

When I stopped working, the computer became my best buddy. I would surf the net for the whole day just reading or watching Youtube videos. I came across Michelle Phan’s video on how she grooms her brows. I am a brow person. Even when I was in highschool, I would pluck my brows for them to look good. But of course it shouldn’t stop there. I followed her tutorial and so far, I think I learned a lot. Since then, watching tutorials on Youtube became a hobby.

One by one, I was able to know the functions of makeups and the tools. I incorporated all the knowledge I acquired. So now, I pretty much learned the basics already. I need to improve on them though. Learning is still on going and I am just loving every bit of it. I hope to learn more, practice more and see a more progressive Michelle in the makeup/beauty industry. Naks. =P

Have you experienced the same thing? I want to know them. Share it below. :)
