REVIEW: The Body Shop Tea Tree Concealer

So now, I will be reviewing The Body Shop Tea Tree Concealer in shade 02. I personally loved this way back and I used this everyday to conceal those imperfections.

Having minimal blemishes these past months, I kind of neglected this baby. But I can still remember how this fared me so let me share with you my thought on this.

Product claims:

A handy, portable stick to conceal blemishes, without over drying the skin. Available in two great shades to blend with all skin tones.

Pros:

  • It really covers imperfections. I love how shade 02 matches my skin well.

  • No pungent smell. You can smell the tea tree oil in it but it's barely noticeable.

  • I did not expect it to heal my pimples but it did not cause me further breakouts so that's a plus.

  • The packaging isn’t bulky. It’s very handy and I can bring this along with me everywhere I go.

  • It is locally available.

Cons:

  • It is not as creamy as I thought it would be. Warming up the product with a concealer brush is a must, at least for me.

  • It sometimes cake on me especially if it’s not properly set with powder. Right amount of powder is needed, don’t go short but don’t go overboard as well. And with concealers, less is more so be careful in applying it.

  • Although I love how this can be handy, I find the packaging quite unhygienic. It has the tendency to look messy.

  • It’s quite pricey for a concealer. I have tried cheaper concealers which worked perfectly fine.

Ratings:

Packaging = 4/5

Effectiveness = 3/5

Availability = 5/5

Affordability = 3/5
OVERALL = 3.75/5

Where to purchase?
You can purchase this at any TBS store.

Price:
Php 500+. I really don't know the exact price because I bought mine on sale.

I hope you find this informative enough. Oh and I want to know if there are other concealers you can recommend. Feel free to comment below.

God bless! ^_^
