Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2012 Makeup Collaboration

I, together with my fellow beauty bloggers, wanted to be part of this year's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And since pink has been associated with it, we decided to create looks that uses shades of pink. I know this is not as big information dissemination as what others do to spread the news or information about breast cancer but, in our own little ways, I hope we were able to help.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), also referred to in America as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer. source

Prevention is always the best thing to do. I would suggest that we read a lot about this because I am pretty sure that it can help. Click here to read more about breast cancer.

Moving on, here's my take on our collaboration. I tried to create a look that uses pink on the eyes, cheeks and lips but making it on the wearable side.

Sorry if this looked really bright. I was in front of an artificial lighting.

I will end this post with this photo. It was my boyfriend's idea to place the ribbon near my ear as if it was part of my look. I also used a pink tank top underneath a cardigan to complete the PINK LOOK. Oh how I love pink! =P
