HAUL: ELF and NYX Cosmetics

Two days ago, I was in search of a good face primer for my mom. I will be doing her makeup again days from now for a wedding. I want her makeup to last longer that's why I wanted a really good primer. I also wanted something that will make her fine lines at least a bit unnoticeable. But since I don't have time to go out, I opted to search online. Good thing, Jannie, the owner of Unicorn Delight, told me she's selling ELF primer. So I browsed her page and decided purchase four items.

ELF Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer
Php 450
ELF Makeup Lock & Seal
Php 250
NYX Pore Filler
Php 680
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
Php 280

I also paid for the shipping which cost me Php 120. I received the items a day after she had them shipped. Very fast service, indeed. I was just a bit disappointed that my items were not wrapped in at least a layer of bubble wrap just for product protection. The cap of the NYX JEP was cracked a bit when I received it. But it's not a problem anymore because I decided that I will be depotting it, soon. I changed my mind. I think I won't be depotting it because I just tried using it on my waterline and I liked it. I think, once I depot it, I will not be able to pull it off as liner for my water line.

I tried these items at the back of my hand and they gave a good first impression on me. I think there's a great chance that I will love these items.

I know some of you have tried these products. What are your thoughts on them? Were they good or not? Let me know by commenting below.

  2. I've used the Elf Face Primer before..this works well however the only downside is, though it has a pump, product is less and gets to form like a "gel" sort of something..so what i do is I remove the cap and scoop the product left inside..but all in all the Elf face primer is good! ;)
