REVIEW: MeMeMe Beat the Blues Moonbeam

If you will notice in my past FOTDs, I rarely or don't really use shimmery highlighters. I've always been a fan of matte looking face. I have one highlighter sitting in my makeup storage but I don't really use it. My perception changed when Ate Dee of Skye Avenue gave me this MeMeMe Beat the Blues Moonbeam. See the haul here.

Most people would say that this is a dupe for Benefit Cosmetics' Highbeam. Since I don't own any Benefit product, I won't be claiming that now. Instead, I will just review the product itself. I hope, if given the chance, I can compare them soon and see if it really is a dupe.
Enhance your natural radiance with these iridescent skin illuminators
An absolute makeup essential! Use on brow or cheek bones to add defintiion or mix with your foundation to add subtle glow. (source)
It is a pink highlighter that would best suit fair skinned people. I am actually between fair and morena.
When blended.
Left: Matte
Right: With Moonbean on my nose bridge, high points of cheeks and brow bone.
My skin looks nice when hit by the light. It loos so smooth and healthy.
- The brush looks decent compared to my other highlighter.
- No annoying smell.

- Easy to blend.
- It didn't feel sticky at all.
- Gives instant glow on the skin. I super love the dewiness look it gives.
- Intensity of the highlight is controllable. You can also build it up depending on your preference.
- A little goes a long way.  This bottle will last for a long time. Be careful as you may look shiny all over when too much is used.
- Lasts up to 5 hours. I did not use any makeup setting spray so that's actually nice.
- It looked natural on my skin.
- Affordable.

- I would want a pump instead of a brush for hygiene purposes.
- I did not receive it sealed. I don't know if that applies to all Beat the Blues collection. But since I trust the seller, that's a no biggie.
- Only available online.

This is actually the first time I liked using a highlighter. 3 out of 5 people told me that I looked nicer with dewy looking skin.

Tip: Use sparingly. If you have dry skin, you can mix a little amount of this to your liquid foundation. If you have oily skin, use this only on areas you want to highlight.
Do you like using a highlighter? Do you use it after foundation routine or mix it with foundation? Share some tips below. I would love to read your comments.
