I will warn you as early as now that this will be a long post with loads of pictures. It is my first time to actually do a photo tutorial and I am really excited, I just can't hide it. Hahaha!
I was insired to do this look because of the recent nail polish I used. I don't really know if I gave justice to the chosen title but I am really happy with the result.
So here is my inspiration, a nail polish from Caronia called Goddess. It is a frosted light blue green frosted nail polish that reflects a bit of tiny gold flecks in it. I love the shade. It really gives that goddess feel whenever I have this on my nails. I only used 2 coats and it is quite enough if you don't want a super thick nail polish on your nails.
Of course, when you feel like being a goddess, lubus-lubusin mo na. CHOS! So I created a look that, I think, will match my nails. This is my interpretation of a goddess look. I may be right, I may be wrong. Just bear with me, please.
Before we proceed with the steps, let me share with you first the products that I used for my face.
|L'oreal Paris Lucent Magique BB Skin Illuminating BB Cream SPF 20 PA +++|
3W Clinic Professional Natural Makeup Powder #23Nichido Cosmetics Extra Waterproof, Protective Eyeliner Pencil in Dark Brown (review here)
James Cooper Jazzy Collections Eyebrow Gel in Frosted Brown
Sigma Beauty sample palette that contains Reveal, Act and Oversee eyeshadows
Beauty UK Blusher in no.4 Orange
NYX Extreme Lip Cream in Buttery Nude
Apply Oversee on your lids using a medium sized eyeshadow brush.
Using a pointed eyeshadow brush, apply Reveal on the outer corner up to the crease area.
Get your blending brush then get a small amount of Act and start blending the eyeshadows already applied on you lids. This will soften the intensity of the first two colors applied.
Apply a champagne satin eyeshadow on your inner corners up to 1/3 of the lower rim. I used the lightest shade from the Beauty UK blusher.
Tightline and apply a winged line using a dark brown pencil then set it with a matte black eyeshadow which I forgot to include in the photo. Curl your lashes and apply mascara. You may use falsies if you want intensity to your eyes.
Final look of the eye makeup. Photo taken with flash. I used my Geo lenses in CH624 for that added oomph. See my review here.
I hope you all enjoyed my simple NOTD and FOTD. I had fun dong this, especially the tutorial part. Let me know if you like me to post more photo tutorials in the future.
