REVIEW: Beauty Republic Dramatic BB Tinted Cream

Holla ladies! It's been awhile since I last reviewed a BB cream here on my blog. The last was posted last September of 2012. It is just in time for me to post a new one. Actually, I still have 5 BB creams to use after this one. That's how much I love BB creams, I guess.

Ms. Carmen of Carmen Claire Cosmetics generously gave this for product review. I'm actually glad she did because so far, this BB cream was able to meet my expectations.

Carmen Claire Cosmetics is an online shop that sells variety of makeup and skincare products. Aside from that, they also have tools like makeup brushes and train cases. You may say that almost all you need to beautify yourself is available at CCC.

Although I got this for free, I was able to go through the process of ordering from them. Everything went smooth but since Multiply's having some technical difficulties, you may check out the items in their Multiply page then fill out this order form instead.

I received my Beauty Republic Dramatic BB Tinted Cream in a red pouch like this. I think all their items are placed in a packaging like this. Cute, eh?

Product Description:

Ingredients and additional Information about the product:

Packaging

I am loving the sleek black, squeeze tube type packaging. It looks so elegant. The only thing that concerns me is that the product is too thin that it easily comes out of the tube. Be careful in squeezing it out.

The product is sealed for consumer's protection. This assures us that the product is really new and was never tested.

It goes from white to blending on our skin tone.

This particular BB cream is super handy and I can bring this during my out of town travel.

Please watch the video to see how the product fares my skin. Here, you'll definitely see how it transforms my skin and how easy the application went.

What I like:
- Packaging looks very sleek and elegant.

- Ingredients and how to use information are provided.

- Has brightening and wrinkle repair properties.

- Very easy to spread on the skin.

- Blends well as long as you use very little amount only.

- Has sheer to medium coverage and feels very lightweight on my skin.

- Gives off dewy finish but can be mattified with setting powder.

- Brightens up dull skin.
- Has SPF 37 PA+++ that is perfect for summer.

- Has decent lasting power (4-5 hours) with minimal touch ups on powder. It can also be enhanced by applying face primer and a good setting powder.

- Locally available through online shopping.

What I don't like:
- No manufacturing and expiry dates given.

- Has a mild floral scent. It's quite tolerable though.

- Since the product is a bit runny, it can get a bit messy.

- Has white cast when used in flash photography.

- Available only through their online shop.

- Quite expensive for a 30g product (Php 650). You can actually buy 2 pcs for only Php 975 and save some.

Where to purchase?

Price:
1 pc - Php 650
2 pcs - Php 975
Wholesale (9 pcs) - Php 4,095

I think this product would suit those who have minimal blemishes on the face since coverage is sheer to medium only. Also, if applied too much, it will make you look washed out so little amount is only needed. This BB cream gives off dewy finish but is still okay to use even on hot weather (with a good setting powder, of course).

Overall, I think this is a worth trying product. I find this quite comparable to L'oreal's Lucent Magique Bb Cream except that the latter is thicker. I remember, I haven't done a review on that. I will try to do that, soon, for you to see if there's any difference.

Would you like to try this BB cream?

God bless! ^_^
