October to November 2014 Favorites

I was supposed to upload the video few weeks ago for the October favorites and I realized I will be using the items until November so I decided to just do October-November 2014 favorites video and blog post. You may watch the video below but just to inform you, it is in Tagalog. If you cannot understand that language, then stick with the blog post instead.

I will just briefly share with you the products that I have used almost every time during those two months and if possible, I will share with you the prices and where to get them. Let's start, shall we?

1. Pond's Complete Solution Acne Clear White Multi-Action Facial Foam and Scrub | Available in leading stores nationwide

I like how it gently removes excess makeup products on my face that any makeup remover was not able to get. The scrubs aren't harsh on the skin and it actually helps clear out my pores thus preventing acne from showing up.

2. Saforelle Gentle Cleansing Care | Php 159.75 for 100ml in some supermarkets.

From the name itself, this one is really gentle on that area down there. It doesn't feel drying or anything. I just feel fresh every after wash. TMI but, I have to share just so you know why I like it. This is my 4th bottle, if I am not mistaken.

3. Palmolive Naturals Healthy and Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner | Php 194 for 350ml in leading supermarkets nationwide

I love the smell of this shampoo and conditioner! It lasts the whole day and my hair is just really smooth every time I use this.

4. Tresemme Anti-Hair Fall Conditioner | Php 365 for 600ml in leading supermarkets nationwide

This actually helped in lessening my hair fall problem. I noticed that there are lesser visible hairs going on the drainage area. Love the smell too!

5. RMK Underarm Whitening Solution plus Deodorant and Antiperspirant | Php 150 for 60ml; Php 280 fpr 120ml; Php 1100 for 500ml: Php 1900 for 1 liter and is available at RMK Shop Online

Ever since I tried this, I fell in love with it and I forgot about the other products I used including the tawas that was included in my July favorites. I love this because of the fact that it makes my armpits dry all day long and it feels as if I applied a face primer on my UA, velvety smooth. It also has a whitening effect but I will not focus more on that. Hats off to its antiperspirant powers!

6. Nivea 3-in-1 Daily Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Wipes | Php 139 for 20 wipes in leading supermarkets nationwide

This one smells so great! I use this every time I feel like I have put too much junk on my face and want to get rid of them right away. It does an amazing job. Plus, it has a rougher side for mild exfoliation. It is a perfect makeup remover wipes for a foundation user like me.

 7. Revlon ColorStay Liquid Foundation | Approx. Php 650 in online shops like Kering Keri Store and Php 900+ in malls nationwide

I have been going out a lot  lately and I needed something that will make me look decent all day long. This does the job for me. It makes my skin look presentable even after all the walking and sweating happened.

8. Avon Anew 360 15-in-1 CC Cream | Php 699 but in currently on sale at Php 399; just contact any Avon dealer you know

This is a perfect thing if you want to just even out your skin tone and don't need too much coverage. It gives a slightly powdery finish but not totally matte. It gives a nice sheen on the face and true enough, it can correct dull skin tone in a snap. This is very easy to apply and smells nice too. I normally use this for errands only.

9. Mary Kay Concealer | Php 615 from Keekay.ph

The coverage of this concealer is superb. It gives full coverage and it lasts really long. The undertone is yellow and is very effective in hiding imperfections. The only downside is it settles on my fine lines so I need to put eye cream prior to using this.

10. Ellana Mineral Cosmetics Sheer Velvet HD Powder | Php 460 at Ellana's Website or Zalora Ph

I don't use this as a primer but as a finishing powder. The finish is very velvety and it makes the makeup last for a really long time. The only thing I don't like is it gets all over the place every time I use it so there's no way I won't be able to sniff it. But overall, I am in love with this.

 11. Urban Decay Naked Palette

I am awakening my long lost love for eyeshadows and I am starting again with neutrals. This palette has everything I need and even without primer, it lasts pretty long.

12. L.A. Girl Gel Liner in Dark Brown | Php 249 at any L.A. Girl counter in SM Department Stores nationwide

I use this both as an eyebrow product and as an eyeliner and it worked both ways. The consistency is really nice and the price is very friendly.

13. Nature Republic Botanical Eyebrow Mascara #2 | Php 345 in Landmark Trinoma

I have this for over a year now and I still use it. I don't really know how long should I use a brow gel but since it is still working pretty fine, then it is okay with me. I am about to buy another one though because this is on the verge of drying up. What I love about this is it doesn't have that shiny specks in it compared to other eyebrow mascaras. Whenever I use it, it just looks totally natural on me. It stays on the whole day!

14. The Balm Bahama Mama | Php 750 from Beautyholic Manila

I have hit pan on my FS Cosmetics Two-Way Cake in Rajah and I wanted to try other brands. This is on top of my list. I made the right decision. This is just the bomb! It is matte but not totally flat. It gives a nice sheen which I absolutely love and it doesn't have that reddish tone to it. It is very long wearing too.

15. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague | Php 250 from Makeupholics

This never left my bag whenever I go out. Whether I use it before leaving the house or not, this has been my touch up lip color for the past two months. I just love the color and the consistency is just really good.

16. Benefit Cosmetics Lollitint

This one is just a sample size but I still love it! On the days I feel lazy to complete my makeup, I just apply this on my cheeks and lips and I am good to go. It lasts all day on my cheeks but I had to retouch my lips once in a while. No big deal though. Among the tints from Benefit, this is by far my favorite.

17. Beauty Blender | Php 950 from Carefreeshopper

I have neglected my face brushes because of this. This applies foundation and concealer seamlessly and it is very easy to clean compared to other sponges I have used before. It can get easily broken though because I am harsh when I wash my tools. I will definitely buy a backup.

18. Artnet Blending Brush #153 | Php 280 in ATC and Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall (have to check on this)

This is the best blending brush I have tried so far. Its size is perfect for someone like me who hates applying eyeshadows. The bristles are very soft too.

19. Bvlgari Omnia in Amethyste

This was given as a birthday gift from my mom. She knows I love this and this will remain a favorite, no matter what! I am not good in describing scents but smells so nice and lasts the whole day. The bottle looks really cute as well.

Those are the products that I have been using for the past two months and even up to now. Because of that, I don't know when I will be able to do a favorites post again. Just watch out for it, okay?

See you again on my next post, loves!

  4. I use Medium Beige sis for the Revlon ColorStay. Matagal na yang Naked palette. Di ko lang ginagamit. Gusto ko naman i-try sa Sleek yung pang contour kaso kailangan magtipid. :)
